This release is timed to coincide with what would have been Vangelis’ 80th birthday.

6354 Vangelis is an asteroid in the main asteroid belt between the planets Mars and Jupiter. NASA data for Vangelis’ celestial body is:

Diameter 7.641 km

Rotation Period 4hrs 39 seconds

Magnitude 12.39

Geometric Albedo 0.399

It is quite clear from this data that 0.39 was the key factor in the designation of this asteroid to Vangelis, referring to his 1976 album Albedo 0.39

In my opinion, Into Infinity belongs to every good space-ambient collection!
This music is a 53-minute piece, which begins with 10 minutes of very gentle drone ambience.........but then..... :-) :-) - an eerily beautiful transition turns this album into an "orchestral oasis of well-being" that lays itself over the stressed soul like a light veil, a journey into the infinite, light spheres.

Simply heavenly!!
